  • We're currently looking for a Workshop Assistant/Runner to work alongside our Workshop Administrator and creative team to:

    • Order and collect materials (company vehicle provided)

    • Help organise stock and ensure that stock levels are maintained

    • Load and unload vehicles

    • Sign for deliveries

    • Transport staff and materials to site and assist with overnight installs

    • Clean down machines, empty bins

    • Keep workshop tidy, fire exits clear and contribute to efficient running of workshop

    • Clean & maintain yard

    • Clean & maintain company van

    • Assist creative team where needed

    • Cover cleaner’s duties (during holiday/sickness)

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Must be confident driving LWB Sprinter & Luton sized vehicles

    • Full, clean driving licence

    • Organised with ability to prioritise workload

    • Enthusiastic & self-motivated

    • Team player, with positive attitude (pitching in wherever required)

    • Must have a good level of physical fitness due to manual handling required

    • Excellent timekeeping and dependable

    • Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities

    • Must have basic understanding of H&S in the workshop environment

      Bonus:

    • Forklift licence

    • Basic knowledge of workshop materials

    Contract Details:

    • Contract type: 12-month fixed term PAYE

    • Pay: £19,760 - £24,960 per year (dependant on age)

    • Start date: July

    • Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm (Mon - Fri)

    • Location: Bristol, BS2 0UG

    • Holiday: 20 Days + Bank holiday

    N.B - we are looking for a dedicated Workshop Assistant (there is no opportunity to move into the creative dept).

  • We’re looking for freelance carpenters to join our in house team.  You will work alongside the project lead, in-house creative team and project managers to deliver high finishes for the Retail, Leisure, Museum and Heritage sectors.

    The role would suit those with a background in large scale set/scenic builds, bespoke bar/restaurant fit outs, events and exhibitions.

    Working predominantly from our premises in Bristol, the role will require occasional site installation work.

    Essential:

    • Minimum of 3 years professional carpentry experience

    • Portfolio of work that can demonstrate suitability for the role

    • Knowledge of materials and processes

    • Ability to construct bespoke pieces in a timely yet durable manner

    • Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail

    • Adherence to good housekeeping & strict health & safety within the workshop

    • Competent in the use of power & hand tools

    • Must have own basic toolkit

    • Basic level of physical fitness due to manual handling required

    • Ability to read technical working drawings

    • Excellent time keeping

    • Team player
